St Joesph’s School Visit

The Green Wind Renewables team had an incredible morning with the Year 5 and 6 class at St Joesph’s School, sharing their passion for renewable energy! The team enjoyed teaching the students all about wind farms – how they’re built, how they work, and why they’re such an important clean energy source for a sustainable future.

One of the highlights was seeing the students spread out across the oval to measure the length of a single wind turbine blade – an impressive 90 meters! It really put into perspective the scale of the wind turbines being proposed for our wind farm projects.

The students also joined in on a hands-on session where they built their own mini wind turbines and tested them on the oval.

Thank you to the staff and students at St Joesph’s for welcoming the Green Wind Renewables team and for being such great participants in learning about renewable energy! We’re excited to continue spreading awareness about the importance of wind energy.
