Announcing the Mahogany Wind Farm

Green Wind Renewables is excited to announce the Mahogany Wind Farm, a new large-scale renewable energy project planned between the Shire’s of Coorow and Dandaragan, near Warradarge in Western Australia’s wheatbelt. Located approximately 40 kilometres south of Eneabba and 40 kilometres east of Jurien Bay, the project is positioned to play an important role in Western Australia’s clean energy future.

Harnessing some of Western Australia’s strongest wind resources, the Mahogany Wind Farm may host up to 75* turbines with a generation capacity of 450* megawatts (MW). Once operational, it is expected to produce in excess of 1.5* terawatt-hours (TWh) of renewable electricity each year – enough to power the equivalent of 250,000* WA homes.

Green Wind Renewables’ Project Development and Community Engagement teams have commenced discussions with landowners, neighbours, traditional owners and the community and will continue to engage closely as the project develops. We are committed to working closely with stakeholders to ensure the project is developed with openness, transparency, and collaboration at its core.

Beyond renewable energy, the project represents a significant investment in the region – creating jobs, supporting businesses, and boosting the regional economy.

The vision for Mahogany Wind Farm is taking shape, and we look forward to working hand-in-hand with landowners, neighbours, traditional owners and the community to bring it to life.
