Members of the Green Wind Renewables team recently visited the Warradarge Stage 2 Wind Farm site to see how one of Western Australia’s latest large-scale renewable energy projects is being delivered. Bright Energy Investments (BEI) hosted the Green Wind team on site, providing a tour of key project areas including a wind turbine foundation under preparation, a recently completed foundation and the substation.
The Warradarge Wind Farm is one of the state’s latest renewable energy projects, harnessing the strong wind resource of the Mid-West region. Stage 2 builds on the success of the original development, adding a further 30 turbines to the site.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Paul, James, Mike and Iris from BEI for their generous time and hospitality. The visit offered valuable perspectives on the practicalities of large-scale wind farm project delivery in the Mid-West and reinforced the strong collaboration that exists across Western Australia’s renewable energy sector.
Green Wind Renewables values opportunities like this to engage with peers, exchange insights and see firsthand how major renewable energy projects are advancing the State’s clean energy transition.
