What does a wind farm developer actually do, and how do you get a job in renewable energy?
These were some of the questions we explored with students at Central Regional TAFE’s Career Taster Day in Northam on Friday.
The Green Wind Renewables team welcomed plenty of students throughout the day, introducing them to wind farm development and the range of careers that help bring a wind farm to life.
It was a chance to learn more about the people involved in developing wind farms and the wide range of careers available in the renewable energy sector – from planning and environmental studies to engineering, construction and community engagement.
We enjoyed hearing students questions and interests, and helping them explore where a career in renewable energy could take them.
Thanks to Central Regional TAFE for bringing everyone together and giving students the opportunity to discover something new.
