Green Wind Renewables’ Stakeholder Relations and Business Development Director, Patrick Ragan, was invited to participate in an industry Q&A panel during the Australian Institute of Energy’s Transmission Social Performance Luncheon on Wednesday 22nd May 2024.
The panel, facilitated by Katharine McKenzie from AEMO/AIE Perth, included industry experts such as Margot Hammond from Western Power, Esther Diffey from SLR Consulting, and Lindsay Bridge from EY. The discussion focused on navigating social challenges in energy projects, strategies for effective stakeholder engagement and community involvement, and future planning within the South West Interconnected System (SWIS).
The Australian Institute of Energy is a national, not-for-profit professional association that regularly hosts in-person and virtual events to support member networking opportunities, raise awareness of energy issues, highlight new and evolving energy technologies, and promote discussion of energy policies.
