Green Wind Renewables and Aula Energy are pleased to announce the launch of the Community Sponsorship Programs across the Ambrosia, Grevillea and Wandoo Wind Farm projects.
The programs are designed to support local initiatives that make a meaningful difference in nearby communities. Funding of up to $5,000 (excluding GST) per application is available to individuals, groups and organisations in nearby areas, working to build stronger, healthier and more connected communities.
The Community Sponsorship Programs are proposed to remain active during the development phase of each wind farm. We are committed to creating lasting benefits to neighbouring communities to the project and will continue to evolve our benefit sharing initiatives as the wind farm projects progress through planning and approval stages.
Applicants are encouraged to align their proposals with one or more of the following focus areas:
- Arts, Sports and Culture – Supporting creativity, sport, and local traditions
- Community Infrastructure – Improving community spaces and facilities
- Education and Training – Creating learning and upskilling opportunities
- Environmental Sustainability – Promoting conservation and eco-friendly practices
- Health and Wellbeing – Boosting mental or physical health in the community
- Social Development – Building stronger connections, community spirit, or services
Applications are open year-round and reviewed every second month.
Eligible applicants include local residents, community groups, not-for-profit organisations, schools, and P&C groups.
