Green Wind Renewables was delighted to take part in the Central Regional TAFE Careers Taster Open Day in Northam, joining a range of industry representatives to showcase career pathways to students from across the Wheatbelt.
The event brought together four high schools from the region and provided Year 9 students with an opportunity to explore future study and employment options across a variety of industries, including renewable energy, hospitality, health care, agriculture, construction, and technology.
The Green Wind Renewables team spoke with students about the growing opportunities in Western Australia’s renewable energy sector and the diverse career pathways available – from engineering and environmental science to community engagement and project development.
Events like the Central Regional TAFE Careers Taster Open Day play an important role in inspiring the next generation of skilled workers, supporting regional career development, and helping students connect classroom learning with real-world industries.
Green Wind Renewables would like to thank Central Regional TAFE Northam for inviting the team along and for their continued support of local career pathways.
