The Green Wind Renewables team attended the Women in Energy Perth event, “The History of Energy in WA – Looking Back to Move Forward.” The evening brought together leaders from across Western Australia’s energy sector for an engaging discussion on how the state’s energy history continues to shape its future.
Keynote speaker Jessica Shaw, Director at the Superpower Institute, highlighted the importance of sustainable development, innovation, and cross-sector partnerships in driving economic growth and delivering equitable outcomes for communities.
A panel of senior leaders continued the conversation, offering reflections on the evolution of the energy sector and what lies ahead. The panel, moderated by Rebecca Brown, Director General of the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification (DEED), included:

The event also provided a fantastic opportunity for networking, with professionals from across the sector sharing ideas, challenges, and opportunities.
