Green Wind Renewables enjoyed sponsoring and attending the Heroes to Hub community event over the weekend, marking our second consecutive year of supporting this inspiring local initiative.
Heroes to Hub is a 26km fundraising run supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), inspired by two young lives forever changed by the care and courage of the RFDS. This year’s event attracted more than 220 participants who ran, walked and rode to raise an incredible $133,877.00 for the RFDS.
The event was also a great opportunity for the Green Wind team to meet with local residents, connect with community groups and share information about our renewable energy projects and sponsorship programs.
Supporting events like Heroes to Hub reflects Green Wind Renewables’ commitment to building strong relationships and investing in the communities where we work.
We would like to thank Erin, Kym and all of the volunteers who worked tirelessly to organise another successful Heroes to Hub event. We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that strengthen community connections and make a positive difference across local communities.
